Dallas, Texas - Home of many relatives, but we only had time to say "Howdy" to the Rossel clan on this visit--others were away at camp or we just had to sadly forgo seeing them for want of time. Of course, now that we are Texans for sure, we will be seeing a lot more of Dallas and all our favorite people there. They will kindly forgive us our trespasses on this little sojourn, please.
You know you are back in civilization when you find a Starbuck's and your cell phone actually works. You know you are back in Texas when everyone is ready to share some barbeque with you. (Everyone in the picture on the right includes Sharon, Ilana and Andy, Ben, Bradley, and Bev and Cary--Jenny and Jeremy were absent at this meal, but we saw them later.) Seymour was taking the photo, having managed to finally wrench the camera away from Ben.
In case you are wondering about Bev covering up Cary's face, the reason was simple to explain. When you enlarge the picture, pay special attention to Bev's latest acquisition (and we don't mean Cary's left ear... We mean that stunning ring that Cary gave to Bev that very morning!).
No one is certain whether Bradley was cuter than the puppy, but both seemed to have a lot of fun and Ben liked staying in Bradley's room overnight (and playing endless video games) so much that he couldn't resist a little "photo essay" on Ben and Cassie (the pooch). Jenny and Jeremy are the proud owners of a new home and the dog, too. (We saw Ilana and Andy's home first, but the dogs there did not play with Bradley, so they did not get photographed.) On the right are two happy brides, Seymour's and Jeremy's. They look fine together.
